the problem with affirmative action is that it attempts to solve problems using force. the best thing that government can do for race relations is to STAY OUT unless someones person or property has been damaged.
taking from one person (who did not own slaves) and giving to another (who wasnt a slave) because of their skin color is inherently racist. the idea itself fails to see people as individuals and continues the racist ideals of seeing people in terms of groups
the best thing to do with racists is to ostrisize them.
